Community Guidelines

BoomBoard is for everyone. Keep it fun, keep it legal, keep it short.

Uploads we approve

• Short clips (ideally under 10 seconds) with a clear, descriptive title.
• Audio you made yourself, have permission to share, or that is clearly fair use (short meme clips).
• Accurate tags, up to five per sound.

Uploads we reject or remove

• Hate speech, slurs, harassment, or content targeting real private people.
• Sexual content, graphic violence, or anything involving minors inappropriately.
• Full songs or long copyrighted recordings.
• Ear-destroying audio with no warning. Tag loud sounds as #loud.
• Spam, ads, misleading titles, or duplicate uploads.

Enforcement

Moderators can reject uploads, remove sounds, and ban accounts. Banning can remove all of an account's sounds. Every moderation action is logged.
