Is BoomBoard free?

Yes. Playing, favoriting, recording mixes, and uploading are all free.

How do I record a mix?

Pick a techno beat, turn on Loop, press Record, then tap sounds on top. Press Record again (or Stop All) to finish, then hit Download mix. Everything is recorded in your browser.

Why can't I hear anything?

Browsers only allow audio after you interact with the page, so tap any key first. On iPhone, make sure the silent switch is off.

Do I need an account?

No. Favorites and recently played are saved on your device. Log in with Google to upload sounds, sync favorites across devices, and get a public profile.

How long until my upload is live?

A moderator reviews every upload, usually within a day. See the guidelines for what gets approved.

How do featured spots work?

There are 10 featured spots at $5/day each. Buy days on the Get Featured page and your sound shows up in the featured row until the time runs out.

• Esc: Stop everything (sounds, techno, and recording)
• 1 – 0, B: Voice effects: Normal, Fast, Robot, Deep, Chipmunk, Echo, Distort, Alien, Pitch, Reverse, Bass Boost
• T: Play / stop the techno beat
• L: Toggle loop
• R: Start / stop recording

• S: Surprise Me (random sound)

Can I install it?

Yes. Use "Add to Home Screen" on mobile, or the install icon in your desktop browser's address bar.
